We have seen a case of radial club hands associated with Edwards syndrome in anone day old female newborn infant who has born from 36-year-old mother and a 36 year old father. She had multiple anomalies with itrauterine growth retardation,
microcephalic
skull with flat occiput, microphthalmia, low-set and malformed ears, micrognathia, webbed neck, radial club hands on both forearm, flexion deformity of fingers, simian crease, narrow pelvis, and rocker-bottom feet with short and big toes. She
died
at
the age of 3 months.
Karyotype was 47, XX, +18 in this case. A brief review of relevant literature was made.
